About

‘What will you do with this one wild and precious life?‘ Mary Oliver

Since discovering trail running in late 2019 I am loving the newfound freedom that comes with being able to access wild and remote places on foot. The further I go from the trailhead, the further I am from signs of civilization, the more energized and grounded I become.  I want others to share this satisfaction and experience the benefits of being outdoors and active.

I want to do more to protect the environments I love exploring and go beyond our everyday expectations to dismantle the systems that threaten these ecosystems, such as mineral extraction, climate change, human disconnection and unsustainable farming practices

I need to be part of something bigger than myself to remain positive about our future.  I am so thankful for the friendships that have formed through meeting people at events such as takaynaUltra and For Wild Places and am very thankful to be building a tribe that motivates one another to continue fighting.
