I would like to acknowledge the First Nations people who have been custodians of land, waters and culture for tens of thousands of years. I understand that the wild places I love to inhabit and explore on this continent have been cared for by First Nations people for millennia. Through listening deeply, I hope to learn from the world's oldest living culture so that together, we too can care for Country, as the indigenous people of this continent have done since time immemorial.
