A dedicated advocate with drive, ingenuity and optimism, Hilary is on a mission to experience, celebrate and protect wild places. Her path to activism has been anything but ordinary, and she is eager to share and grow her understanding to foster lasting, planet-saving change.
I work with organisations, thought leaders and facilitators to negotiate the obstacles in our path to climate action and environmental protection, by unpacking the system issues that we face, and collaborating to overcome them.

— Tim Ashleford, Managing Director & Publisher at We Are Explorers
“Hilary was an absolute asset at our inaugural ExplorerFest. She capably led large group trail runs, engaged an entire tent with her gear repair workshop and could be found around the festival engaging with guests and partners at other times. She fostered a real connected, community vibe and was easy to work with, reliable, and fun. I can't wait to invite Hilary back to our next event!”
— Karin Trager, Founder at La Loyka
“Hilary is one of those rare humans who is values-driven, inspiring, and just an all-round good egg. She supported me through my run along the entire Yarra/Birrarung river and honestly, her snack-providing skills deserve their own medal. Beyond that, she’s the kind of person who can pull off organising major environmental campaigns one day, and then show up with a jar of her homegrown pickled veggies the next. Whether you get the chance to work with her or simply share a cuppa, you’ll quickly see she’s a superstar in every sense.”
